Site Reliability Engineer 🇳🇱 NL (Remote)
The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of our global node infrastructure. You will be instrumental in building and automating systems that manage thousands of blockchain node connections, ensuring they meet strict SLAs for uptime and latency. This isn't just about keeping the lights on; it's about architecting systems that are resilient by design.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Ultimate Reliability: Maintain and improve our service uptime, targeting five-nines (99.999%) availability across all supported networks.
  • Build and Automate: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) to automate the provisioning, deployment, and scaling of our global node fleet.
  • Master Monitoring: Develop and refine comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK) to gain deep visibility into system health and preempt failures.
  • Lead Incident Response: Be a key player in our incident management process. Lead troubleshooting, resolution, and post-mortem analyses for production issues, driving solutions that prevent recurrence.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze system performance to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reducing P99 latency for our users worldwide.
  • Practice Sustainable Engineering: Balance feature development with reliability work by defining and implementing SLOs/SLIs and managing error budgets with the development team.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar production-focused software engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in a programming language such as Go, Python, or Rust for automation and tooling.
  • Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience designing and using modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems internals and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  • A passion for building resilient, scalable, and maintainable systems.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary and equity package.
  • A remote-first, flexible work environment.
  • Support for your personal and professional growth, including learning resources and development opportunities.
